Kittens, kittens, kittens

Normally, we only handle adult cats, but animal lovers just can't turn away any in need of help. So...we have 15 kittens! They are all about 12 - 14 weeks old and were gently raised in loving foster homes. Most are girls, but there are some boys also. All of them are fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. Lovable, playful and will be wonderful companions. Just a few of the kittens are pictured here, but they are in an assortment of colors!

These adorable kittens are ready for adoption! Healthy, and playful, the 2 black are males and the calico a female. We couldn't get them to sit still, so we did a movie to show them off.

Katrina

This is sweet, sweet Katrina. At 8 years she is one of the older cats here, but very healthy and loveable. She is a medium sized cat with lovely thick fur. Really loves to be pet and brushed.

Toby

This is Toby, a 3 year old male. Beautiful soft orange fur, he really enjoys being brushed and cuddled. He has nice thick, long fur with a relaxed personality.

Cassie

Cassie is my daughter's favorite cat in this particular cat room. She has unusual pastel calico colors, but with darker browns than Meke. She is very friendly and loves to sit on your lap and love you! She is part Siamese with medium length thick fur.

This is August, a 3 year old male cat. The photo just doesn't do him justice, as he has very distinct tabby markings and white paws with a white ruff. Very friendly and loves to be pet and brushed. He has an identical twin brother, September.

Snowball

This is Snowball, a slinky part Siamese male cat. Born pure white, his original owners called him Snowball, but his true coloring soon shone through! He definately has a Siamese personality, and as you can see, enjoys licking water off his paws, rather than drinking straight from the bowl. He is two years old.

Meke

Meke, Japanese for calico, has unusual pastel calico colors. She is 1 1/2 years old and a smaller, quiet cat. Sweet and cuddly, she also has unusual shaped eyes.

Keoni

This is Keoni, a 2 1/2 year old male cat. He is a slim but medium sized cat with orange and white fur. Sweet and calm, he enjoys being pet.

This is Kristy, one of our few all white cats. With just two traces of gray overy her eyebrows, Kristy is a beautiful quiet dispositioned cat. About 3 years old, she is a medium sized cat with thick medium length fur.

Dorian is a two year old male with medium length fur. Beautiful face and ruff markings, he is a quieter cat. Brown tabby markings, he likes to be held and cuddled.

A sweet little love bug, Patti was an abondoned kitten. A one year old female, she has nice thick fur in a tortie pattern. A medium sized cat.

Kahe

Kahe just wasn't in the mood to have his picture taken, he'd rather have pets! A five year old male with a van pattern. Mostly white with a calico head and tail. He only has three legs, but you'd never guess it as he has adapted wonderfully. He would prefer to be the only cat in the house, although he is very people oriented having been raised with a family.

Ruby is a 3 year old female. Tortie and white fur and sleepy looking eyes. She's quiet and affectionate.

Midnight

Arresting eyes that are so green, they practically glow. Midnight is a large male about 2 years old. Thick medium lenth fur that's very fluffy, he is also very affectionate.

Manu

Curious and playful, Manu is a larger male. About 2 years old, he is very affectionate and wants to be cuddled. He is a brown tabby with thick, short fur.

Demi

Carlson

If you're looking for a bundle of love, Carlson is your man. A large cat that loves to be pet, he is a classic dark tabby. Very beautiful.

Navy

Found in Naval housing, Navy has a very unusual coat. White underneath with orange tips to the fur, like a creamsicle! Very affectionate, he's the first one at the door for pets. 4 years old, this male would make a great pet.

Linda

A very sweet female, Linda is 1 1/2 years old. Abandoned with 2 kittens in Honolulu, she is named for her rescuer. Mostly white with a few black spots, she has nice thick fur.

A slim, smaller male, Kirby is a solid gray cat. About 3 years old he has a genetic 'swagger'. It doesn't affect his health, just gives him a distinctive walk.

With arresting green eyes, Toulouse is very affectionate. At 5 years old, this male cat is calmer than a kitten, but still has a lot of playfulness in him.

Brother is, well, brother to Sister. Two peas in a pod, he's a cuddler too! One year old and just arrived here at the shelter today. Medium sized with nice thick fur.

Jewell is a ten month old female. Another very playful kitty and easy around children. Very distinctive tortie and white markings give Jewell her name.

This very affectionate male cat is Remy. Approximately one and a half years old, he is very friendly and playful. Around kids he plays and is easily picked up and cuddled. Medium sized, he has clear, distinct gray/black markings. Lovely, long whiskers.

We are so excited to get this blog going to bring you and a beautiful cat, (or two), together! The Hawaii Cat Foundation provides a sanctuary for abandoned cats. All sanctuary cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and provided responsible daily care by trained staff and volunteers. Necessary veterinary care is provided by licensed veterinarians. Volunteering there myself I can tell you that it is a wonderful safe haven. With over 200 cats now, things are a bit full. Our goal with this blog to show all of the adoptable cats and get them into loving homes. Adoptable cats are healthy and sociable.
